Annastasia is a specialist employment and industrial relations lawyer with Fair Work Ombudsman (FWO), Fair Work Commission (FWC) and in-house experience.

While at the FWO, Annastasia worked on a variety of routine and complex contested civil penalty litigations in the Federal Circuit and Family Court, Federal Court and High Court, including high profile appeals and matters concerning redundancy pay exceptions under the Fair Work Act, large corporate underpayments and test cases concerning pieceworkers and accessorial liability.

She also provided advice on a wide range of issues, including matters relating to compliance with the Fair Work Act, award coverage and classification and award/enterprise agreement interpretation.

While working in-house, Annastasia developed expertise in conducting workplace investigations concerning bullying, sexual harassment and other serious misconduct and advised businesses on these issues.

As a previous associate to the former President of the FWC, Annastasia also brings unique insight into FWC processes.

Her experience provides an excellent basis for delivering strategic, commercial and practical advice to clients on a variety of matters.
