Vasuki Paul is one of the country’s most experienced industrial relations professionals, having worked specifically in employee relations in both federal and state jurisdictions for over 20 years. She has represented the interests of whole industry sectors including the road transport sector, fast food sector and construction sector in award proceedings before the Fair Work Commission (FWC), and in pressing both state and federal governments for legislative amendment in the interests of employers. She advises businesses on issues arising from mergers, acquisitions and restructures, resolving industrial disputes, enterprise bargaining, termination, redundancy and discrimination proceedings in the FWC and relevant tribunals.
In Vasuki’s current role managing the construction, utilities and mining sectors for the Ai Group, she maintains a vital dialogue with both the state and federal construction industry regulatory bodies, which ensures that her advice is always accurate and insightful regarding important compliance issues. Vasuki is renowned for developing strong relationships with members and is a regular contributor to our events. She provides insight into all internal policy work, proactively keeps members informed of valuable updates and manages relationships with industry regulators and unions.
